William Berger Sayer was born in Denver, Colo. in 1919. He graduated from the University of Illinois School of Architecture and taught at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Denver before opening his own firm. One of Sayer's notable achievements was the development of relocatable, custom designed buildings for home, schools and commercial facilities.
